Growing Fern

So I asked my mom to get me a guitar as a going away for college present and instead she got me a ukulele. She would not invest on a guitar until I start on the basics. Which I am assuming is a ukulele…OKAY 

Well, I am so much in love with my uke! And have not desire for a guitar as of now what so ever. 

I’ve been playing my uke all day long. She is my love :) I am so incredibly happy. 

On another note…leaving long beach on thursday. Have to get goin on the packing and catching up with my peeps. 

I should really make this a regular thing as to have some sort of college memorabilia. I shall try. 

Basically I haven’t stopped to breathe this couple of days. AP week is pretty much killing me.I had my first AP today which was Spanish…It was actually not as horrendous as I was anticipating.  The only thing that I am quite nervous about was the multiple choice. That and I just made a complete fool of myself for thinking my whole listening portion was not recorded and had to stay afterwards only to find out that it was RECORDED. Sadly, these kind of things would happen to me.

On top of that, I’ve been working after school until closing. Coincidentally I don’t have work today, which is SUPER since I have to study for the big fat AP Calc test.  But, I have to say, the new Nordstrom is so beautiful and huge!  The fitting rooms are incredible. BTW, a great place to meditate when no one is around :) Although, I am not surprised since the new store cost a whopping 500 million investment.  I just can’t wait until this whole week is over.  I am definitely rewarding myself with the great incentive of SHOPPING.

I haven’t really posted anything new on here so I though I should give it a go go again. Finished all le homework an hour early. Tomorrow is yet again another big day full of adventures and learning. Wake up at 5:30 for chamber as usual.  Hopefully, Mr.D has some coffee because I honestly don’t know how I will stay awake. 

One more month of school left and I am sooo happy! I am soo ready to go to college. As for getting a job….I am this close to being hired at the best retail store!

Lovely NORDSTROM! I was utterly surprised when I listened to my voicemail to discover that the manager wants me to start training this Sunday. Life is just so good to me right now and I would not change anything.

Actually, its been really fun and quite interesting. This last week I’ve been forced to eat in my English teacher’s room due to my foot crisis and I’ve grown to actually like it.  She is by far the best of all teachers. She is super stylish…ugh…it’s like a present everyday to see what she’s wearing. And those heels! I feel like a little 4 year old when I say this, but I want to be just like her when I grow up. I kind of feel bad though because I don’t actually try in that class. I am back on my feet which means no more lunch convos in Ms.L’s class :(

Tomorrow is Jackrabbit pageant! I hope all goes well and looking forward to the talented seniors performing.
